Common questions
The extension does not start+
Make sure AI Meeting Assistant is installed and enabled in Chrome, then refresh your meeting tab and open the extension again. If the issue continues, send us the meeting platform, browser version, and what you saw on screen.
Microphone or audio is not detected+
Check that Chrome has microphone permission, your meeting tab is active, and the selected audio device is working. If you recently changed permissions, reload the meeting page before starting again.
The transcript is incomplete+
Transcript quality depends on audio clarity, speaker volume, and browser permissions. Try keeping the meeting tab open, avoiding muted system audio, and confirming that the extension is running during the full conversation.
Meeting notes were not generated+
If a meeting report is missing, check that recording was started before the discussion and that the meeting had enough spoken content. You can also contact support with the approximate meeting time and platform.
Where are recordings saved?+
AI Meeting Assistant is designed for a browser-first workflow and no bot joins your calls. For details about data handling and storage, review the Privacy Policy or contact us with your specific question.
How do I delete my data?+
Email info@meetingsassistant.app with the email address or account details connected to your usage, and we will help with deletion or access requests.
Does a bot join my meeting?+
No. AI Meeting Assistant works from your browser workflow, so no extra meeting bot appears as a participant in your call.
Which platforms are supported?+
AI Meeting Assistant is built primarily for Google Meet and also works with Zoom Web and Microsoft Teams in the browser.
